Terry students benefit from strong academic curricula taught by quality faculty in nationally recognized programs. Professors explore new program delivery options and technologies in the classroom where possible. The student classroom experience is further enhanced by options for additional certificate programs (e.g. music business, leadership, actuarial science and legal studies) and real world experiences such as class consulting projects with area businesses, study abroad opportunities, and area-specific competitions. Terry brings in real world practitioners to address students in classes, as well as mentor and participate in career and job opportunity programs.
In order for Terry to explore and respond to the latest industry needs and offer Terry students a well-rounded college experience to prepare them for their future careers, Terry needs private support dollars. The state has cut funding for educational institutions dramatically in the last five years. The only way to continue providing students with first-rate educational opportunities is through endowments and annual fund dollars provided by generous alumni, friends and corporations.
